Matthew + McKenzie // Classic Chicago Millennium Park Wedding

I had the pleasure of meeting Matthew and McKenzie last summer when we did their engagement session. It was a blazing hot day but at the end of the session as I climbed into a cab covered in sweat and I couldn’t stop smiling! I had just photographed two wonderful, kind and welcoming people in the gorgeous of Chicago! I knew their wedding day would be epic!!

Fast forward a year and my prediction was right, their wedding was one for the books! Although it was a very chilly May Saturday their outdoor ceremony that was so important to them was perfect! Surrounded by their family, friends and the hustle and bustle of the city they exchanged their vows. As I photographed them and their wedding party I was able to see how much they are loved by those around them and how much fun they have together! Soon we arrived to their river side reception where there were heartfelt and comical speeches, awesome dancing, good company and lots of fun had by all!!

Matt + McKenzie it was a pleasure getting to know you and I wish you all the happiness you deserve! I hope you’re enjoying Italy!!!

If you look really close you can see his cufflinks have their initials and date!

I think they all agreed McKenzie looked stunning! Always one of my favorite moments, when a groom sees his bride walking down the aisle! We arrived to River Roast  via water taxi, how fun?!
